Academic network

The Collège develops special programmes in cooperation with its academic network  of technical universities, scientific organizations and centers of research.

Where academic excellence and management meet

The Collège des Ingénieurs collaborates with the most prestigious technical universities, excellence clusters and organizations with the aim of taking engineering and science talent one step further.

In cooperation with CERN, the programme called Innovation for Change is dedicated to the world of Impact Innovation. The aim is to utilise the most advanced types of technology to help solve problems of social interest to generate a significant impact on the world in a medium-long term perspective.

In cooperation with Sorbonne and Karslruhe Institute of Technology the unique Science & Management programme enables our Fellows to combine a doctorate in science or engineering at a university with the MBA programme at the Collège.

The Brain to Market summer school works in cooperation with the Brain and Spine Institute (ICM) in Paris and aims at making a real difference for research in the field of health.

Cooperating institutions and universities

Agnelli Foundation

In 2018 the Collège, together with Agnelli Foundation developed and launched the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation on the occasion of June 7th 2018 at SEI Torino Forum. The Agnelli Foundation is a non-profit, independent social sciences research institute that was established in 1966 in Turin (Italy) – where it is headquartered – by will of Gianni Agnelli, for the centennial of the birth of Fiat’s founder, Senator Giovanni Agnelli. The Agnelli Foundation was also a co-founder of CDI Italia in 2009.

CERN

A new agreement with CERN stimulated and reinforced CDI Italia’s entrepreneurship activities. The agreement provides the framework for an ensemble of collaborations on the theme of entrepreneurship and management. On one side, CERN will become a technological and operational partner for CDI Italia's projects, and on the other, CDI Italia will assist CERN in creating new relationships with industry partners, incubators and potential investors. The collaboration will involve several CERN initiatives, including the Knowledge Transfer group, IdeaSquare and the CERN & Society Foundation.

CERN and CDI Italia have already successfully collaborated on entrepreneurship programmes, for example, the Innovation for Change (I4C) project, launched in February 2016 at IdeaSquare in CERN.

ICM - Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle épinière

The Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle épinière – ICM (Brain & Spine Institute) – is an international brain and spinal cord research center whose innovative concept and structure make it the only institute of its kind in the world. The ICM brings patients, doctors and researchers together with the aim of rapidly developing treatments for disorders of the nervous system and enables patients to benefit from them as quickly as possible. For several years, the Collège has been conducting the "Brain to Market" summer school at the ICM.

Karlsruher Institut für Technologie

In 2010, the Collège signed an agreement with the KIT to create a unique programme called "Science & Management" for Ph.D. students wishing to pursue an MBA alongside their doctorate. The Ph.D. candidates benefit from pursuing their research and venturing into the business world at the same time.

Ministry of Science and Technology (People's Republic of China)

In 1994 the Collège signed an agreement with the Ministry of Science and Technology. Every year the Collège warmly receives a handful of young Chinese graduates in STEM subject from the best universities such as Fudan, Shanghaï Jiao Tong, Tsinghua. These Fellows go on to have extremely successful careers in China.
